We have now used the capsules for about three black tank flushes. We can't see any difference in sensor cleaning. There are many recommended methods for keeping your sensors clean, but this company claims that this actually helps with sensors that are inaccurate because they're covered or clogged with feces or TP. We love the convenience of the pods, we don't have any issues with the smell either. So the question of whether or not our sensors will improve over time is unknown. I like this product because it doesn't have that specific chemical "fresh" smell that most empty tank cleaners have when you use them.
