A good and inexpensive way to put cameras where you need them is with network tools.

It comes with its own POE switch built into the device so no additional hardware is required. add them - but once I clicked around a bit and found the setting. Inserted an old 2TB hard drive from another camera - the device found it and formatted it with no problems. Setting up the QR code to work on my phone was easy. The phone app tends to shut down, if you switch to another app, just restart it.
