Surprisingly good image quality for a TN panel. Much better than the 27" 144Hz Dell TN panel I've used before. There are some vertical stripes that you may notice when using a solid background, but this is typical for all TN panels. It is not noticeable in games, when using the Internet or when watching movies. The XG248Q is very responsive and feels very smooth, with gsync-compatible variable refresh rate enabled automatically. The monitor adjusts the refresh rate very smoothly to the output power of my graphics card (2080 Ti). The price is outstanding for a 240Hz panel. Plus, it's an even bigger consideration when you're running them in a two-panel configuration, like I did. ELMB is an interesting feature, but you can only use it or adaptive refresh rate (freesync/gsync), not both. , it's better to use an adaptive refresh rate unless you're playing something where you're at 240Hz all the time. While you can use ELMB at 144Hz, I feel like monitor movement is better at 240Hz than 144Hz with ELMB. reduces the brightness of the screen, which may make it impossible for some people to use this feature. TL; DR. For the price, this is a great 240Hz gsync compatible monitor with surprisingly good picture quality.
