Fast, but too many other problems

Bought to try and replace the XF250Q. The display I received had no visible haze or vertical stripes. On the plus side of the monitor is the input lag; My god, this display is responsive. I have no way of measuring input lag, but it's definitely more responsive than any display I've used before. Input lag aside, this monitor suffers from many issues and I wonder why they add LED lighting for gamers instead of actually making the panel look pretty. Problems: 1) Colors, brightness and contrast…

    The perfect Gsync TN monitor

This monitor performed better than I expected. I've considered buying the pricier 25-inch Asus ROG Swift/Strix models since Nvidia has added Gsync support to both Strix lines, but I was won over by the ability to add ELMB (Low Motion Blur) at 240Hz use. No other monitor can do this right now, and it's hard to believe that it's more powerful and $150 cheaper. Coming from a 24" BenQ RL2455, it was slightly larger for my workspace, so the slightly smaller 23.8" was not a problem compared to larger

The monitor works well, but everything else is form, not function.

I've had the monitor for about a month now and it works with no problems; However, the stand having three legs instead of the usual square base is annoying, to say the least. If you don't plan on staring at the screen all day, you should probably mount a monitor, since the aforementioned tripod stand makes it impossible to lift the stand itself. This is not an easy task with this monitor as the mounting holes are hidden in a plastic circle (see image). This means that most standard monitor…

Compatible with Gsync 240Hz, good picture quality.

Surprisingly good image quality for a TN panel. Much better than the 27" 144Hz Dell TN panel I've used before. There are some vertical stripes that you may notice when using a solid background, but this is typical for all TN panels. It is not noticeable in games, when using the Internet or when watching movies. The XG248Q is very responsive and feels very smooth, with gsync-compatible variable refresh rate enabled automatically. The monitor adjusts the refresh rate very smoothly to the output…

    Great monitor, suits me

Truly one of the best values you can get for a 240Hz monitor. The brightness is amazing. The monitor is advertised as frameless, but in reality the frame around the screen is around 5mm. The joystick is one of the more intuitive ways to control monitor settings, which is a bonus. The RGB on the back makes these monitors a real hit on every battle station!

    Exclusively! in my rating

I knew what I was buying when I bought this monitor, I did a lot of research. and it seemed to be the best 240hz monitor I could find. Now that I have it? I love it! The ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) setting works great and everything is smooth. The games/colors look great and have many features. For those who want to learn more about VESA mounts. YUP! This monitor works with a 100mm VESA mount. I have mine on a desktop mount, you simply pry off part of the ring on the back with a flat head…

Bought from B&H a few months ago (10/10)

I've been using this monitor since December 2018. I LOVE IT. I mainly used it for Overwatch. General: 1) VESA mounting was very easy and the monitor isn't too heavy, but I wouldn't say it's light! 2) All USB ports worked 3) Freesync range works as advertised (I'm using an AMD GPU) Let's look at some of the bad ones first. Cons: 1) Screen flickering (fixed/no longer an issue) I had some issues with occasional screen flickering (you can find such issues on Google), but never while gaming, only in

The best options are the best in my rating

For some reason this monitor likes to turn itself off when playing modern wars. This only happens in this game and it happens when I exit the game. I have no idea why it does this, but it literally makes me lose games because I have to keep resetting it until I can play the game. Terrible monitor, much better options for $100 more and even better options for less. Not a very good buy, I would like to buy a BENQ XL2540 instead.

    Not thin at all!

Amazing monitor. Very impressive. Insanely low latency, G-sync works great, as does 240Hz. Picture quality is definitely not as bad as some comments make it out to be. You just have to configure it in your graphics card control panel. No complaints so far, great product and solid structure.

The monitor arrived with no dead pixels or display/performance issues. Like most TNs it runs a little brighter, but after a bit of tweaking I realized this is a great entry-level 240Hz panel and I'm happy with my purchase. I wanted to leave a few thoughts as I didn't find much detailed information about this monitor before purchasing it, so read on if you're interested: - The stand is ugly so I would recommend installing it. DO NOT purchase if you intend to use more than one monitor source.

I initially liked this monitor; enough for me to buy two of these! But the more I use them, the more frustrated I get and already want to replace them. Most of my problems revolve around input selection: I regularly run into an issue where the source refuses to display, even if the PC recognizes the monitor. I have checked the cables I am using and there are no issues with the outputs and I am having this issue on both of my ROG XG248Q monitors. Couple that with the INCREDIBLY annoying…

    Stand sucks otherwise fantastic

Everything is pretty solid. Gsync didn't seem too consistent so I stopped using it, don't miss it. Brightness is great when not using ELMB, otherwise playable. The stand is really the reason I'm throwing this monitor away. The wide three-blade design is a waste of table space. Now I have a much better low profile stand. Be sure to keep the VESA mount stands or buy the 3/4 inch stands.

A very great monitor if you want to strobe. I mean other reviews didn't stop me from getting it and I'm glad this monitor is being sold by professional esports players and not regular people who just 'gamble'.
