I moved to a new apartment with laminate flooring so no more carpet to help with drafts and now there were also large gaps between the door and floor that I the air could easily be felt blowing through and basically an invitation to the open house for bugs and spiders "tremble". I also wanted to reduce the noise coming in and out through the gap, particularly in my main corridor instrument door, and thought this would help with a few positives: 1. Very easy to install. CAREFULLY level the surface cleaned with Windex with a spatula and apply. Done2. Looks good, especially grey3. The likelihood of bugs entering has been significantly reduced and drafts have been almost completely stopped4. Reduced the tone a bit, not as much as I was hoping, but in the end it's just silicon from China5 in the end. The double-sided adhesive is VERY strong, it will never come off without brute force. Cons: 1. You have ONE CHANCE to install it correctly. If you mess up trying to take it off, remove paint, door sealant and even wood paneling, the double-sided sticky material is VERY DURABLE.
