I like large ice cubes because they last so long. I've tried several different kinds of sphere molds, as well as some large cube types. The large cubes often don't even fit in my glasses. The spheres almost always do.One set of spheres I purchased from another retailer was so bad that I simply threw them away. These work reasonably well. Sometimes the top 1/2" of water will drain out before freezing (there's a hole to relieve the pressure of the expanding ice). If you fill these carefully, that isn't a problem, but I wish the weep holes weren't there as the pressure can simply be relieved from the hole on the top.Anyway, these work and aren't too expensive.
