I have had Reebok tactical boots which felt better but were comfortable enough and for the price you couldn't beat them. They are pretty much true to size, bordering only at the hairline. I can wear 7.5 but bought 8 thinking if they were too big I could add soft insoles and thick socks and it would work great with them. When I first put them on I walked two miles with no extra padding or thick socks and only had mild irritation on the outer edges of the widest part of my feet just behind/behind my pinky toes. Not bad at all for a new pair of boots and no soft socks (I had white athletic socks). The second wear caused almost no irritation and with the same sports socks, and I added some soft insoles. So the second wear made them softer and more flexible/adapted to my feet.
