Review on Kwumsy P2 Pro Multi-Function 13.3" Portable Monitor - 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Wide Compatibility by Dave Romero

Nice second display

This OFIYAA P1 12-inch portable monitor measures 12.4 inches x 8.4 inches x 1.5 inches and weighs just over 2 pounds. Although advertised as a 12 inch display, the screen itself is actually 11.6 inches, has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Speed and color gamut of 75%. I used this display to extend the screen real estate on my HP Chromebook to a 14 inch display. I've also used this display with a laptop running Windows 10. I've had no problem mirroring my main display with this one. Along with my 768p HP display, there's a stark difference in brightness, sharpness, and color saturation: Ofiyaa wins convincingly over my HP's built-in screen in these areas. What I liked most about this OFIYAA P1 12 inch portable monitor was: - Display quality. While you can certainly find the best in this price range, it will take some effort as this display is good, if not great. Colors on this Ofiyaa screen are much richer than on my Chromebook, there's a lot less motion blur when watching fast-paced content, and the 16:9 aspect ratio is still good for most online video content. So it took me a little learning to figure out how to position this device, but after a few minutes I really appreciated the design of this mounting system. It does not damage the connected device and gives users the ability to rotate it 210 degrees. When I'm carrying around other portable displays I usually have to bring some kind of stand, but this one comes with its own. connectivity. This monitor has two USB-C ports, each of which supports up to 100W PD, according to the manufacturer. There's also an HDMI port and a USB-A 2.0 port that can be used for peripherals. Accesories. Everything you need to run this display is included in the box. I liked that all the cables and even the carrying case are ready, but I chose this monitor. What I liked least about this OFIYAA P1 12 inch portable monitor is: - Small screen. The 12-inch size is small, and when I found out that the screen is actually 11.6-inches, I was a little apprehensive. If you can afford it, I'd highly recommend the dual monitor option as it offers the kind of real estate a person needs to be productive on the go. - A hub may be required. This is a big deal for some users, but since this display requires two connections (one for power, one for video), you'll need a compatible device or hub of sorts for this display to work. Overall, I think the OFIYAA P1 12 inch portable monitor is a great buy. The quality of the display is good, with plenty of connectivity options and all the accessories you need to get the most out of your in-the-box purchase. The two things that make or break this OFIYAA P1 12-inch portable monitor for most are the mounting mechanism and the port requirements. If you're concerned that mounting this display could damage your device I would probably recommend going with another option as this display doesn't seem designed to work outside of its wiring harness. The same applies to the requirements for the ports of this device. Potential buyers should be aware that this display requires 2 USB-C ports or one HDMI port and 1 USB-C port. I used a hub to meet this requirement on my end, but if you don't have one and your device doesn't have a lot of ports, this could be a deal breaker. Despite these shortcomings, I really enjoyed spending time with this OFIYAA P1 12 inch portable monitor and I will continue to use it in the future. 4.0 out of 5.0.
