Perfect for my 2012 328i Convertible FOB. I went ahead and made both a primary and backup FOB just in case. Total cost with FOB case and battery was $25 FOB. It takes about 20-30 minutes per FOB to disassemble the old one, desolder the old battery, solder the new battery and install the circuit board into the new FOB case. I made sure the buttons worked before sealing the case so I didn't have to open it after sealing. I would advise you to do the same. I would recommend this to anyone who knows how to desolder and solder. Otherwise, it can be more of a challenge.
