The remote works as expected and is easy to program with instructions. Both buttons could be programmed with the contractor's chain-driven Lift Master Model 8165. Please note that I have two 8165 Lift Master openers and each is controlled by a button. You cannot program two buttons on the same opener. Love the fact that it uses 1 AAA battery compared to other remotes that use a CR2032 battery. Another plus is that you can easily access the battery compartment as there is a front cover with a ledge for removing and replacing the AAA battery.
