Review on Video card GIGABYTE AORUS Radeon RX 580 (GV-RX580AORUS-8GD), Retail by Micha Zikowski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It functions perfectly, nothing unusual.

In a well-ventilated case at 2200 rpm in heavy games, you will see 75-80 degrees steadily. 2200 is not quiet and not noisy, it is not particularly audible in headphones. 75 degrees is quite working temperature, but obviously it could be better. If you do not manually set the speed, you will have about 60-65 degrees per 3k rpm, but the video card will be perfectly audible even through a blank concrete wall. With the very first version of the BIOS, the video card likes to encode something into idle time, which ultimately results in additional consumption and heating, respectively. This has been fixed with the new bios. Gaskets ooze greasy liquid (especially that thick gasket between the backplate and the back of the chip). I disassembled the card and replaced the dried-up Chinese kpt8 with normal thermal paste, the temperatures dropped by ~ 5-6 degrees.

Pros
  • Performance is great Beautiful
Cons
  • Mediocre cooling Useless software (in fact, almost any software is useless compared to afterburner) Default fan curve is inadequate With the very first bios, the video card behaves inadequately Gaskets leaked after 6 months

Different pros: Performance, cooling system, 8 gigs of memory (very cool), stylish design and lighting) Some cons: It heats up, that's why it's a loud infection, but you can regulate the cooler.
