Perfect Fit for Jetta 2.5L BCP (Federal Emissions) Engine

Fits Directly on 2.5L BCP (Federal Emissions) Engine - Two O2 Sensors - ONE Inlet and ONE Outlet. If your vehicle was delivered to California/New York you have a BCQ engine (3 O2 sensors) - ONE input and TWO outputs - this point is not applicable. Both the downpipe diameter and the CAT diameter are smaller compared to the OEM. Attached is a photo for comparison - Walker on the left, OEM on the right. I do feel a slight drop in power (in the 4,000-6,000rpm range), but this can be subjective. The workmanship is okay for this price, the flex hose feels stiffer than the OEM, the bars that fit into the rubber boots have no cut-outs like the original. So it won't stop him from rocking back and forth if you stop and accelerate while loading the spiral hose. However, since spiral hoses are stiffer, this may not be an issue. Installed in a few hours, uses new factory oil seal 1K0-253-115-J (requires new oil seal, old one was crumpled). I reused the nuts, applied high temp anti-seize and torqued all the bolts to the correct torque per the service manual. Also, two clamps (EVIL ENERGY 2 1/4 "Exhaust Band Seal Clamp) in the exhaust clamp were post CAT replaced to make it stronger. P0420 CIL cleared and after a test drive "P0420 Pending" was gone. According to OBD- Diagnosis : Mode $06 - >$21 (Catalyst Monitor Bank 1) -> TID $81 is now in range (actually 5044, was 900 with old CAT, minimum 4096).
