Something is missing as expected

It's not a bad game, far from it, it's very well polished, but the problems come from a basic design that can very rarely fight wild Pokemon . . Many expected this as soon as this mechanic was announced, and in practice it seems like they have some logic. But instead of being a fun alternative, they seem like a way of artificially limiting the game to a certain playstyle. I don't feel like I can play how I want anymore, now I have to do what they want me to do. Catching lots of Pokémon has…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

No wild Pokemon battles - waste of money and time

All in all I was very happy to get this game. As a kid I played all the Pokemon games for the Gameboy and only dreamed of playing a Pokemon game on my TV or on the go with such a big bright screen. After playing it for two days now, I'm very disappointed. Wild Pokémon encounters don't actually let you fight Pokémon. Instead, you spend the next 2 minutes of your life repeatedly snapping your wrist until you catch a stupid Pokemon. Though it annoyed me I thought my 5 year old would be interested…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things

Cash grabbing: the worst Pokemon game yet

Aside from the ability to cut, breed, fight wild Pokemon, hold items, the $40 paywall for Mew assuming today's kids are dumber to make the game super easy etc. this one is Still playing a disgusting cash heist for several reasons: 1. There are only 151 + 2 Pokemon. (Do you have to catch them all? Impossible! Poor Lance, you can only use Seadra as it cannot evolve) 2. Lag problem, especially when you use bait in a Virdian forest. It's really hard to believe that GF still has latency issues on NS

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
