Failed to load media. I'm a big fan of crafts and I'm in the process of restoring an old house, starting with tearing it down and repainting the outside. The entire house needed embossing and given the size and age of the house I embossed a TON. I didn't want to do it with a handgun. I was dying to buy a DeWalt Cordless Caulking Gun, but really didn't want to spend $200 on it. I stumbled across this caulking gun and after reading a few reviews I decided to give it a try. I like this gun. It fits comfortably in my hand and lays down a nice even bead of sealant. The gun comes with an air regulator built in, eliminating the need to purchase another built in regulator (Revain recommended it as an optional purchase but did not require it). You will need the master regulator from your air compressor. I have found that 20-30 pounds of pressure from a conventional compressor with a 1/8-3/16 top port in the pressure pipe is perfect for my project. I started out at 20 pounds but ramped it up to 30 and just used the built in normal to tweak it when needed. I would recommend fitting a swiveling hitch to the gun instead of a fixed hitch. The air hose didn't seem to be entirely in the way. Enough that I rarely had trouble with the hose getting in my way. The gun releases all of its pressure as soon as you release the trigger, so I haven't had any problems with sealant leaking. I can't think of any major downsides to this product. The most important thing I can recommend to those who are having problems is to set the correct air pressure in the air compressor. You only need 20 to MAYBE 40 or 50 pounds. 30 was perfect for me.
