I've bothered to measure the amount of current it draws and it does 12.5 at the highest of the 3 settings, and 12.5 x 120 volts is 1500 watts. So that's the heat you're going to get. That's the safe maximum for a standard outlet, so it doesn't get any better. The heater itself is very compact, which is very good. I can't say how it will hold up as I've only had it a week. Oh, and the price is insanely low. I keep it in my closet in the garage just in case. The rollover protection is a simple spring-loaded switch on the bottom of the device, but it works well. I don't know what else to tell you. Oh, the 123 settings are for heat, not fan speed. Read the instructions, there are 2 pages.
