Logitech has us all in the face. The camera does not live up to its own advertising claims. It does not reach 4k on a high-end system, nor on a laptop, nor on a Mac. So it doesn't make sense that they can advertise or sell it as is. I bought from Revain here and can't seem to get around 4k. 1080p at 60Hz, sure, but many webcams can do that and aren't worth the money. But the main reason it got a star from me is the included cable. This resulted in camera flickering in my tests. The hardware provided by the manufacturer literally limited the capabilities of the device. I unplugged the cable and don't suffer from the cable flicker that many people see. So far there is neither with nor without cable 4k. I would return it but at 1080p 60fps it's currently better than anything I have. So unfortunately I paid a lot of money for a mediocre device. Don't be like me, buy one of the many other 1080p webcams and avoid it.
