Nice design, I like the design. I was happy with it for the first month of using the product, but after that month it all went downhill. The product comes with a "sealed" ring. This ring does not prevent leakage and after cleaning and a few months of use the ring started to smell bad, like an alley where anyone can pee. The smell was everywhere in my house and was very bothersome as I keep the tray next to the kitchen. After a thorough cleaning the ring started to come off which is odd but it's a paper/foam type ring which is why my cats urinate on it. I've tried looking for additional materials to purchase but I don't see anything anywhere. Another downside is that this box is not for big cats. Rather for small cats/kittens. I also contacted the seller and told him about the leaks and they explained the obvious it must be on a flat surface. THE. In any case, look for another tray.
