My favorite thing about this class is that it's interactive, which I love as an artist! We use improvisational theater style games in order for students to make connections between different ways they communicate with people internally versus externally within our jobs/roles at work/etcetera. And you're forced into making mistakes so everyone can learn better (this isn't just your average "you did good" teacher.) Everyone was able to connect more fully w their inner selves or internal characters than what they had developed prior. This has given all my classes new meaning and made them think differently when using various methods of communicating through speech, writing, gestures, etc. The best part is that it gives us an opportunity for self reflection, which helps me in my personal development as well! It also helped our team member understand themselves better by acting out different scenarios with other members within their own peer group or similar level colleagues; this has been very helpful especially when they are stuck at work due do something stupid like procrastinating before starting tasks etc.,.
