These fans are powerful, quiet and very efficient. I simply installed them on 2x 1080mm radiators with 9 fans each. Very easy to connect with built in daisy chain. Surprisingly, I can run 9 fans at full speed in performance mode (2000RPM) connected in series to the same motherboard header. In hybrid mode, you can connect 20 of these together on a single 1 amp connector (0.05 amp each). It gets a little noisy when they're all running at 2000 rpm, but it generates a ridiculous amount of airflow. I didn't bother trying them in extended mode (up to 3000 rpm). Since then I've switched them all to hybrid mode where they peak at 1200rpm and shut off completely when the PWM signal is below 50%. In this mode, the fans are inaudible from more than a few inches away, even at maximum power. My heatsinks become nice and cool under load and idle. Their only downside so far is the price, although similar Noctua fans don't come any cheaper. Also keep in mind that they are 5mm thicker than most case fans when running in a tight spot. I bought them direct from Phanteks but thought I'd write a review here as they aren't available yet.
