Review on 🎧 Jabra Elite Active 65t Earbuds: True Wireless with Charging Case, Copper Blue - Secure Fit, Superior Sound, Long Battery Life by Juice Jali

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I wanted these but the static left earphone made me return them

Pros: great fit, super compact charging case, excellent connection between sound source and headphones. Disadvantages: anemic sound, very susceptible to interference. I really wanted these. Having spent many years with Bose products I wanted to see what other brands had to offer. They've been highly recommended by many tech websites and product critics, with the caveat that true wireless headphone technology doesn't exist yet. These headphones use the latest and most accurate version of Bluetooth technology (Bluetooth 5.0), but it's pointless if the audio device (like the iPhone) doesn't support it. I was happy for a couple of hours until I started noticing a less than satisfactory sound. In general, the sound is a bit weak. This may be because the ear tips don't fit very well (this can easily be solved by installing more appropriate ear pads), although they generally fit perfectly. An equalizer in a companion app can really make a big difference in sound quality depending on the song. But tweaking and changing the EQ every time the song changes is ridiculous. The biggest problem was the constant, hidden noise in the left earcup. especially during audio playback. I'm not sure if this is due to interference from other devices as this ONLY happened during audio playback in the left earcup and not during audio pause, but it was definitely totally unacceptable. Maybe I have a broken left earpiece; Apparently, judging by other reviews and sources, this is not uncommon with this product. I've since bought a pair of SoundSport Frees and haven't had any static issues.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
