
Bought used like new and it works great. I have Comcast and I didn't want to pay these bastards monthly rent. If you go to their website they will show you compatible modems and only the super expensive ones are shown, but if you scroll down you will see all the others they are compatible with. The same thing happens when you use their business site, you can see all the other modems running their services. Many of the more expensive modems are designed for very high internet speeds that the vast majority of consumers don't need. It can do 300Mbps. My internet is a basic package so we get 25 Mbps which it handles with no issues. Do yourself a favor and get a separate router for two reasons: 1) I found it to be a lot cheaper than any 2-in-1 modem-router combo 2) If you move house or switch service providers, you don't have to do anything buy another expensive combination, but instead you can just replace the modem
