I bought this hoping to find a solution to the problem with medicine balls left on the floor in my studio. The product description said it can hold up to 20 pounds, so I gave it a try. The rack not only holds 20 balls, but also 30 balls! I am very happy. I attached one part of the rack to a stud, and I attached the other two parts to a wooden support wall for the "bar" seating area. I would say if you are using this for weighted balls make sure you mount the post to a stud or plank of wood and screw any available screw mounts onto a solid base.
