Today we received this medium sized collar for our (probably) 45 lb Aussie. Size wise he is on the verge of needing a larger size despite his neck measuring 17 inches. The neoprene still covers his entire neck, but barely. What I like about this collar: - Very good quality! I sew sometimes and I like to see how things are laid out. The performance is excellent in my opinion! Everything is straight and looks beautiful. Seems to sit comfortably on my dog's neck. The buckle appears to be strong, but it also features Velcro. Includes a reflective patch. adjust, but then it stays in place - More reinforcement could be used on one side of the handle or placed differently because if the dog lunges very hard, the handle can immediately come loose on one side - Solid color Others would be desirable finishes. ! Maybe a design with a little less Velcro coverage? Overall, I highly recommend this collar. It feels like it will last us long and be a good collar for gentle leash training!
