Review on 🐱 Kitty City Furniture Scratch Box: Corrugated Scratcher by Chad Aguirre

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A little ingenuity goes a long way!

Look, it's a bunch of plastic tubing and connectors with some fabric and Velcro. This is not an elf rack. It's not made of forged aluminum and carbon fiber. - I know. Spoiled wild is an oxymoron) he survived the first 90 days outside in the Texan heat, rain and wind without a problem. used for plumbing or lawn sprinklers. Nothing fantastic. Apply a little to each joint as you put them together. a) Pro Tip #1 - You have a little time before the cement sets, so press each built piece to the ground to make sure it's square. b) Pro Tip #2 If you assemble an item inside with glue, it won't go through the door when you try to take it outside or into another room. So assemble it piece by piece and then do the final assembly. 2) Ties are your friend. I've used them extensively wherever I felt there was a point of tension to help stabilize the device, particularly where pieces of faux fur or cubes were part of the structural integrity. I poked small holes in the fabric at each corner and added zippers to reinforce the structure 3) For outdoor use I cut some small slits in the bottom of the bottom cube to allow rainwater to drain 4) It was easy for I attach the structure to the deck railing and I'm sure this made a huge difference in stability. If using this indoors I would be tempted to add some wall anchors to mount the unit to the wall. For less than $50 plus supplies we couldn't have been happier with an apartment.
