I love these lights! They can be used for a variety of purposes and attach to almost anything. I stick my grow light on a plant stand and use it to give extra light to the plants in my dark apartment. I also attached them to the bird cages to give the birds more light. They are good for extra overhead light almost anywhere you need them. And they're heavy because I've dropped them a few times and they always hold up. The only problem with these bulbs is that you have to replace them with very low voltage bulbs. I think no more than 20 watts. I set one to 15 watts and the light still got very hot. This is probably one of those things where you NEED to buy replacement bulbs from a dealer. Not bad. Just be careful not to damage the product.
