I am very pleased with this canopy covering the door of my rustic Trail Teardrop RV. It is easy to assemble yourself and offers protection from the sun and rain. While not a heavy tarp like my dad once made, it's excellent value for money. Since I didn't learn how to assemble a tarpaulin from my father, easy assembly and disassembly is important to me. I hang one side from my teardrop and support the other side with poles. It comes with two bars which I found too high so I use a pair of height adjustable bars. I secure each support with two slings to increase stability (I learned my lesson in only having to brace myself once in a thunderstorm when the canopy took off). This canopy is very versatile - if I wanted to set it up with four legs I could do it independently from my camper. If I need protection from heavy rain I'll probably need to cover it with an extra tarp as it has a mesh "window" that can be opened. Haven't used it in these conditions yet but could probably use the side panel over the dome for added protection if that's the case.
