4 " is better!
I am 5'10" 175 lbs. I love it! The length at the butt seems slightly longer than the front which is perfect. YES they are short but nothing is loose I bought them in all colors. Just a note - I originally bought the 4" and personally I prefer that these 2.5" are MUCH more flattering. However, the inner shorts are a bit stiffer. Although the socks have stretched after a day 4" looks unkempt in front, ok in back. If you're in between, take these 2.5" instead of 4 inches!
