I'm blind but I'm camping in the middle of nowhere with no cell service, no hospital and nothing around. No I'm not crazy enough to try to go alone, I wouldn't even if they saw me to be honest. lol. 2 minutes after opening I found compass, whistle, emergency knife and fire. Starter. Of course I can't use a compass, but I can find the direction of travel in another way, maybe not as accurate as a compass, but if I need to go west I can LoL. I have to scrape it off before it lights up. I found a YouTube video that explains this part. As soon as I scraped this coating off, it sparkled like a champ! So the clips connecting both ends have treats in the middle, a small emergency knife on one side and a lighter on the other. You just use both for sparks. The compass and whistle are also integrated into the clips, so you can wear everything right on your wrist. Note, however, that the lighter can magnetically interfere with the compass due to its iron content. Just separate the ends and then use the compass. The rest of the bracelet is paracord, which is enough to make a trap, cover, and line if needed. To be honest you'll probably never need all of the paracord, but it's good to have a surplus of it in case you need an emergency stretcher or maybe a sled to haul gear or collect firewood etc. I've used it and tested tons of similar items that have fish hooks and other attachments but they tend to be of rather poor quality. This one is literally so well made and designed with such common sense that a blind guy figured it out with no help other than setting it on fire. If you camp or survive or know someone this is a fantastic item!
