This item was designed to support the weight of soft drinks, mineral water, hot drink mugs or beer cans for my passengers and other items like a cell phone, but only for a few months after I used this product and it maybe Only used it three times, part of the tray broke off and ripped off the headrest elastics, spilling ENTIRE contents (including a nearly full can of soda) onto the floor of my car. and on my passenger's lap!. Thank goodness it wasn't scalding "hot" coffee! I immediately tested my second (second) tray by "pull" and again it came off the belts with very little effort! Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't even use this product to hold baby crayons. BEWARE! Oh!, What did I like about the product? "Design and price" but you certainly get what you pay for and now it's too late for a refund. :)
