I actually have three of these trash cans. One in yellow to match my bathroom; one aqua for my dining room and one blue for my kitchen. I originally got them when my pest exterminator said it's important in an apartment building to have trash cans that close completely, not the swings I had in the suburbs. I also like the fact that I can take out part of the glass and rinse and clean it in the sink. I use garbage bags but this makes it cleaner. My cat isn't one to crawl into the trash, but if he were, he'd help out there too! highlighted. They are durable but I wore out my others after a few years.
