The perfect addition to the already established NB line. Perfect for my middle distance training. They are definitely not a speed shoe like the 1080, nor are they a great recovery shoe like the Beacon. But for what they are they are good all round shoes. Short and medium distances, local gems 5 and 10 thousand at a relatively low price. Complaints about chafing ankles are pretty overblown in my opinion. All people are built differently and one shoe cannot be expected to fit all. I always wear medium or full Injinji socks and have had no problems. So good I have two pairs
