Review on πŸ”Œ Medium Socket - White Pass Seymour by Chris Ostby

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Strange pink lampholders

This is a heavy plastic construction, rated up to 660W (same power as a porcelain socket) according to the markings on the socket and also on the Legrand website. . Judging by the photo, they should be white. I bought two and both are an odd pale pink. See photo of my outlet in direct sunlight on white printer paper. For my project, the sockets won't be visible, so it's not a deal breaker. But for those using them in projects where you can see the socket, note that the color isn't actually white. I prefer ceramic or porcelain sockets, but only use 100 watt bulbs. So if they are discolored, cracked, burned or melted I will update this review as needed.
