Great little lightbulb holder!

Looks great ---- just what I wanted! I like it ! Looks very high quality----good solid construction----very easy to assemble and connect! I use it for science experiments when I need to light a small lightbulb - great for that! But it's a plastic holder - I wouldn't use a strong bulb in it - these bulbs get very hot and the plastic can melt! It also has exposed binding posts, so be very careful with that (I wouldn't use it around children)!

Cartridge Funky Pink, cross reference to Legrand catalog

Legrand makes a similar cartridge with a medium base: 19062. In the Legrand catalog their product is described as white porcelain. The photo in the Legrand catalog does not reflect the art deco details that this product has. I suspect this is not the real deal. Although it says "Legrand" on the box, I can't reference it in the catalogue. The plastic material doesn't look as if it would withstand 500 watts in the long term. Strange pink lampholders

This is a heavy plastic construction, rated up to 660W (same power as a porcelain socket) according to the markings on the socket and also on the Legrand website. . Judging by the photo, they should be white. I bought two and both are an odd pale pink. See photo of my outlet in direct sunlight on white printer paper. For my project, the sockets won't be visible, so it's not a deal breaker. But for those using them in projects where you can see the socket, note that the color isn't actually…
