When I first opened the box I was afraid it would be harder than I wanted. But now that I've used it, I found it easy and very useful. It came in incredibly handy when we cooked Thanksgiving turkey. We enjoyed watching the temperature rise during cooking. It was so handy to watch the cooking process so we could see the other sides. We also like to use it on our grill.
