The AT&T phone system has been in my business for 15 years. I was able to switch from one line to another without having to physically hang up. When you speak to a customer, other people can accidentally tap your line because you can't tell who is on which line. they flash at different speeds, not when someone is being held. There are different ringtones for ringing different lines; I have no idea how that helps. Numbers on the phone are huge and when you press them, the dialing is delayed, making you have to physically wait to hear the first digit or think you didn't press the number hard enough. then you dial the number twice. The only good thing and the only reason I bought this phone was that the phone system could support music on hold and 4 lines. If you don't need it, don't buy it. Not worth the money and not at all the quality I've experienced from AT&T in the past. The 4 line Vtech phone was no better. And never buy from a third party because even if the phone is a piece of crap, you can't return it without paying a hefty restocking fee. I sincerely hope this helps.
