Every pen has its own shine. However, you can only see the shine in direct light. Compared to other pens or brands, the colors are not as metallic as they should be. Then another problem arose that so far three pens leaked at least half of their ink after the first use (all were used at least once to create the color chart for the set). Luckily, a leak was found in the caps of each pen. I was only going to give them 1 star but I gave them another star and put my doubts aside as the pens could be useful as regular colors not metallic pens. However, watch out for leakage.
