the product is really durable and the materials used are standard and don't look like easy to give away. The instructions in the small illustrated booklet were helpful. hold phones was able to hold my phone firmly but be aware of the thickness of the phone case as it is too thick and tends to pop out of the stand when in use. My phone case is made out of a piece of rubber and plastic, because of its thickness I have to remove the plastic case. Using only the rubber boot, the thickness was reduced to allow the stand to be held in place and not pop out. Was impressed with a tripod (small but sturdy) with such a small stand.
