I have a cable hanging in my bedroom that I use every day. The best thing about this product is the extra 2 that comes with it. So far I haven't had any problems with these cables. I say "for now" because let's face it, it doesn't matter if Steve Jobs comes back and personally hands you a Lightning cable, it doesn't matter what brand, they wear out. However, you'll feel a lot less overwhelmed with a few extras and know how cheap and easy it is to replace them. I say go ahead and give it a try. You're already thinking about it. As long as you don't abuse it, you're fine.
