I did a lot of research before deciding to buy the Dash Clear View Toaster. Bought based on high reviews from other buyers on Revain. I really wanted to love this toaster. It's only positive. looks good on the counter. From day one we had trouble toasting our toasters evenly. Good. It got great reviews, so maybe it's just us? So we took our time and played around with the settings. Always with a different result. Sometimes he did what he had to do. Toasted the perfect piece of toast. We usually tended to the toaster for fear of burning. He also pushed the toast out with such force that it usually ended up on the toaster or on the counter. There is also a design flaw. The chrome around the top of the toaster is VERY hot and we burned our fingers on more than one occasion. The knobs and buttons are plastic and look cheap. Almost two months later. I'm finally fed up with this. We called production and they offered us a replacement once the old toaster was returned. I'm waiting for them to email me a return label. I'll let potential buyers know if the second one works better. Update: almost two weeks later. Finally got a replacement today. Didn't even take it out of the packaging. it was the wrong color. Disappointing when I told customer service I bought the black one. They called and said black was out of stock so the manufacturer sent white. Since my units are black and chrome I have asked for a refund and will be returning them. I didn't want a white toaster, and the option of taking care of the second didn't appeal to me.
