Bought this hat for a trip because I didn't want to look like the typical American tourist with a ball cap on. It ordered a bunch from Walmart to try on and this one was the best. It was packaged with without being folded up, so there were no dents or creases. I plan on folding up the hat and taking it in my purse for travel. The material is sturdy and thicker than the others, so it holds its shape while on my head and won't bend to gentle wind. There is a wonderful velcro strap at the back which you can adjust to the size of your head, or to control how far down you want the hat to go. I did receive a chin strap but there were no instructions on how to sew it on to the hat. I'm still trying to figure out how to, but given the shortness of the strap, I may just buy some ribbon and sew that on myself. Giving it 4 stars based on packaging, materials, anticipated durability, and design. Reserving one star to see if it will crease or lose shape when I fold it up in my purse for travel.
