I had just previously purchased an HP Envy laptop and unfortunately this laptop broke within 2 weeks and had to be returned. I frantically searched for a laptop that could be built or configured to the specs I needed to edit photos and 4K video. I spent all day looking for a laptop that would arrive at the right time for me. Luckily I came across this one and someone recommended it to me. I've heard of Razer, but many gaming laptops are too big and clunky for me, or don't have 4K displays. To my surprise I saw this Studio Edition which was PERFECT! I've owned it for 2 months now and it works like clockwork! I would never have bought this if my new HP hadn't died. My HP cost about $2600 while it cost $4000 when I bought it. It's a bit more than I wanted to spend on a car but the specs were what I needed and then some more and I just wanted the car to work. Due to the great experience I've had with it so far, I've now switched from HP to a Razer laptop 10 years later and have a choice going forward. My 2 remaining HPs will be retired and replaced with a Razer laptop when the time comes. The most amazing thing about this laptop is how thin (and LIGHT) it is, yet packs a GPU as powerful as the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000. This GPU can handle anything! I've edited in Adobe Premiere Pro with no issues and played intense games like Need for Speed Heat, and this machine runs without hesitation. The sound is fantastic, the 4K OLED touchscreen is wonderful (and the accuracy of the Razer calibration is amazing, much better than my HP Envy). Out of the box, my HP Envy had 64GB of RAM, which is only 32GB. , but you can expand it up to 64GB, which is a big plus! This is a laptop that you will surely use for at least 6 years, if not more. I also liked that this laptop had a lot of ports! That was also a big requirement. There is really nothing wrong with this laptop. As my first gaming laptop, I can say that the color keyboard is very good! Gaming laptops really are something special and as this is my first laptop I would definitely say that as a gamer or content creator like me you can't go wrong.
