We have always trusted the name Blue Buffalo and our dog has eaten and rejected Blue dog food or treats his entire life. We even feed him our treats. We were excited and eager to try Blue's latest "hunting" style dog food as our cat loved it too. We have thus completed our dog's dry food. It is filled with real protein meat as well as offal. It's not loaded with a bunch of fillers, offal or potatoes, it's a premium canned food made with 95% real meat, so it's a great treat when added to their kibble. They love this wet food. It doesn't smell too strong, but it does have a scent (dogs love it). It's easy to spoon up and I can keep the jar covered in the fridge for days as I give them some for dinner every night. Its consistency is like a thick paste. I would especially recommend this for dog owners with picky eaters who are trying to get their dogs to eat more. This box of dog food is more expensive, almost double the price of other blue canned dog food, but you get what you pay for! If you're looking for a premium canned dog food that's rich in meat and organs, look no further!
