Review on LDR Industries 501 2000 Strainer by Jeremy Hudson

I replaced my waste chute and used plumber's putty as recommended on the packaging and even at our local hardware store. We constantly had problems with leaks, had to disassemble 2-3 times a year and constantly change the putty. I'm shocked that you can't just walk into a store and buy these gaskets and that NOBODY seems to know about them (again, no matter who I ask, the answer is always "plumber's putty"). Well, about a year and a half later, having disassembled the entire system, I was pretty fed up, searched for Revain and Low, and lo and behold! That's exactly what we needed! I can't believe it was that easy. It's been with us for a few months now and not a single microdrop has leaked, not only that, but the vibration has practically disappeared with it.
