Review on Pack of 2 - Zinc Free Waterproof Denture Adhesive: Extra Strong Hold for Upper, Lower or Partials - 1.4 oz by Wendy Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I WILL ONLY USE THIS PRODUCT - IT WORKS!

I read other reviews and here is my method that works for me. I use SECURE cleaning tablets. You can buy them here at Revain. I only have an upper denture and use half a tablet. I usually apply the glue around 7am and it lasts until 10pm depending on what I eat during the day. When I want to remove the prosthesis, I drink some cool water and swish it around in my mouth until it breaks the seal, and then carefully remove the prosthesis. I have found that BOUNTY paper towels can be used at this point. I choose a size, cut a few in thirds and set them aside to remove the glue from the palate. I then use a piece of paper towel to wipe away any adhesive residue on the denture before soaking it in water with SECURE denture tablets (follow package directions) in my denture case. I go for 7 minutes, not 5 as the instructions say. After 7 minutes, I drip warm water and, using a children's toothbrush, pick up a small almost dissolved tablet with a toothbrush, gently clean the inside, and then the outside of the denture, and rinse the denture under running water. I empty the solution from the denture container and rinse it out. I dry the prosthesis to make sure I have removed all of the adhesive, place the prosthesis in its case and soak it in filtered water overnight. In the morning after brushing my teeth, I take out the prosthesis, empty the case and dry the prosthesis with a paper towel. I press a coin-sized coin onto the prosthesis and move it with a glass rod (mouth rinsing stick). Then slide the prosthesis towards your mouth and gently squeeze and hold for a few seconds. I don't eat or drink anything for at least 20 minutes.
