Arrived quickly. The item is well packaged/protected. Supplied with printed test report - may need to be checked prior to installation. The RTV500 is a compact quad, so removing the starter motor is a headache. Go through the top by removing the coolant lines and the exhaust covers. I went from the bottom at first, which made it easier to disconnect/connect the wiring, but removing/installing the starter went from the top. Expect around 3-4 hours of work to get this done. The old starter rusted too soon. It appears that the drain holes/tubes in the frame drain assembly are clogged and condensation has been allowed to collect inside. I recommend leaving the hoses intact but not connected to the frame drain assembly - unless you ride through a lot of puddles and use them for mud. The replacement starter works perfectly.
