Review on 🌟 Top-rated Stroller: THULE Urban Glide 2 Mars - Unrivaled Performance and Style by Edyta Banach ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

In general, for almost 1 year of everyday use of this stroller, I can say that it has its own characteristics, which for some parents can cause difficulties in its operation. But it was extremely important for me to stay physically active after having a baby. In Europe, running with a stroller has not been something supernatural for a long time, in 2022 it is still rare to meet a running parent with a child in a stroller, perhaps due to the lack of high-quality coverage on footpaths and in many parks. For me, the stroller turned out to be an ideal option for everyday life, sports and travel.

Pros
  • 1. Ideal for running. I have a large baby, I started running with a baby in a stroller in the "lying" position starting from 1 month without using a cradle. The stroller has good shock absorption, large wheels, as a result, the child sleeps well on the run, even on uneven pavement. Now the child is 1 year old, the average "mileage" of the stroller is more than 150 km per month, it copes with its functions perfectly. The child likes it too. 2. Lightweight, maneuverable. Before purchasing this stroller, I used an Emmaljunga stroller with a carrycot, compared to it, the Urban glide turned out to be just a piece of fluff, which is controlled with one movement of a finger. The front wheel has 2 positions: rotates 360 degrees (for everyday life) and fixed (for running). 3. Folds and unfolds with one hand movement. I am a sports girl, so it was easy for me. Unlike metropolitan transport, in the regions, not all buses and trolleybuses have wide doors and low steps for mothers with strollers. I traveled a lot with this stroller: I put the child in a kenguryatnik, the stroller folds in one movement, I went into the trolley bus up the stairs and voila. In the trunk of a passenger car in 95% of cases it fits without unfastening the wheels. But when traveling to the airport with a suitcase, you need to remember that most likely a large suitcase and a stroller will not fit into one trunk. 4. Passable. I ran with this stroller through ankle-high Siberian snowdrifts, and through ice, and along sandy beaches, and through pine forests of our great and beautiful country, and through puddles, I can say with confidence: it passes and passes everywhere! But it is especially good to run with it on good smooth asphalt somewhere in a European park. Cross-country tourists will appreciate. 5. Very roomy bottom under the stroller. 6. Adjustable handle height is suitable for tall people. My husband and I are 185 cm tall, for us the high handle position of the stroller is just perfect. I have never seen such a comfortable height in any other stroller!
Cons
  • 1. Does not fit into a standard passenger elevator when disassembled. This is a real problem for fragile girls if there is no cargo in the house. The solution is simple: take a kenguryatnik with you and, when leaving the entrance, keep the child in the kangaroo, the stroller folds with one movement of the hand and easily fits into the elevator when folded, and on the street put the child in the stroller. It sounds like a "hard workout", but many mothers often complain that they "have no time for sports" . here is a great opportunity, especially since compared to other models this stroller is very light :)) 2. Hand brake. I think this is the biggest Thule joint in this model. Due to the handbrake, it is very difficult to maneuver a stroller with a fixed front wheel while running on a winding path with turns with one hand, and besides, not all running watches count mileage when both hands are on the handle of the stroller, because of this, some even wear a sports watch on leg to count steps and mileage. In my opinion, the previous 2022 model without a handbrake is better. 3. Price. In my opinion, the price in the 2022 at 52 thousand + is greatly overstated. It can be found abroad for 20 thousand cheaper, besides, many airlines carry strollers for free, it is better to take them not in the 2022 if possible. 4. Semi-lying position. This is not a problem until the child can sit up on his own. Once the child has learned to sit, in most cases he will not like the semi-lying position during the waking period and will tend to sit higher as in a normal chair. I tried a couple of times to put a folding IKEA box under the top on the advice of experienced runners with strollers, but this method did not take root for me. Over time, the child simply got used to the semi-recumbent position. In my opinion, a child should spend time actively on the street, so if he doesn’t sleep on the floor in a lying position, then it’s better to run or crawl, and not sit for hours in a stroller.
