Review on Syba SD PEX15021 Single RS 232 PCI Express by Robert Weeks

Buy this card if you want to spend time with drivers, otherwise their website doesn't make it clear which driver is multifunctional and which is UART. The driver on the included disc loaded with no problem, but the COM ports didn't show up in Device Manager (WIn7 32-bit) even after a couple of reboots (double checked we had the right driver, and we did). We really needed a card that we could plug in, load a driver that worked without problems, and get on with our project. Now you need to order another more expensive card and wait for it to arrive, and most likely it will work right away. Sometimes going cheap just doesn't pay, now we've put in an inordinate amount of extra time and work and the project stops when we could go on. Siba. never again.
