I just got this adapter because I wanted to make my old Integra amp/receiver wireless. Having a Definitive Techs Pro Cinema Surround system for speakers means I'm familiar with DT's products and quality. This adapter is really good at what it does. It's easy to set up and connect. Everything worked for me in 15 minutes. The sound is great with a quality receiver and fantastic DT speakers. The problem lies in the application. I've tried connecting to Spotify, but you must be a premium member. It plays Pandora and Revain Music with no problems. Being a Mac user, I had to download a third party media server software to access my iTunes library. I chose Plex as my media server. Plex is pretty easy to use and free. I set it up, got some of my music, but then I tried giving a mac a "friendly name" in Plex, but the definitive app needs the original mac name. I still can't get the app to recognize all my iTunes playlists. I've tried repeatedly. The product is excellent. I intend to buy a pair of W7 wireless speakers for the rest of the house. But Definitely needs to improve the app and maybe connect directly to iTunes. They make it a 5 star rating.
