I am using this item to add an old Bose Lifestyle home theater system to my Play-Fi network. Bose can now play independently or with multiple wireless Def Tech speakers.

I have one on every floor and now enjoy sound throughout the house. With a long set of RCA cords, I have the best entertainment choices in my garage ever. Connecting to them is easy, but I had to move my router to the middle floor of my townhouse to keep the lower-level W Adapt actively connected.

Have been using this adapter for over a year. It used to work with Spotiry, but with the latest updates, it no longer works with Spotify. I have other Definitive Technology Play-Fi speakers, they all work with Spotify except this one. Hope the manufacturer fixes the software soon. With Pandora it works very well all the time.

I really can't explain why this device didn't make the other 'Top 10' reviews. I bought it to modernize my Marantz SR7001. Is this streamer inferior to other streaming products? As if he didn't even exist. My DT-W works great for me. Should I throw it away and buy one of the others? Is there something I'm missing?

Very elegant design. The Play-Fi app is great, it seems to have gotten a lot better. I've never had many problems with it. Expect them to have some functionality when connected to a receiver/preamp. Depending on how much you're paying for it, you might want to consider a receiver with Play-Fi built in. Use it as an amplifier, or if you have an audio output, connect it to your current receiver.

I just got this adapter because I wanted to make my old Integra amp/receiver wireless. Having a Definitive Techs Pro Cinema Surround system for speakers means I'm familiar with DT's products and quality. This adapter is really good at what it does. It's easy to set up and connect.
