A beautiful matcha tea gift set that celebrates the craftsmanship that matcha symbolizes

As a lover of good tea and matcha, I was delighted to receive this beautifully packaged and traditionally designed matcha tea set. Because this is a ceremonial matcha tea set, it includes everything you need to show the respect and enjoyment that is due for the highest quality matcha. What attracts me most is the quiet simplicity of the elements included in the set; a simplicity that makes it much better suited to its ceremonial function. Before acquiring these tools, which facilitate the awakening of the artistry at the heart of a proper gaming celebration, brewing a good cup of tea was a purely improvisational affair. My biggest challenge was getting the matcha to stir properly to get that gorgeous jade colored foam; the most important element in traditional matcha preparation as it provides a concentrated, light (but powerful) green tea flavor. This matcha foam, when properly prepared, also releases the heady herbal asparagus aroma that is the hallmark of the highest grades of ceremonial matcha. By creating the right bubbly matcha foam, the tea master unleashes the complex aromas and distilled flavors of the finest matcha varieties. What was previously impossible is now effortlessly achievable. With the right tools, it only takes a relatively short amount of effort to make both types of Matcha. Usucha and Koicha are two traditional ways of making Matcha. Usucha means "liquid tea" and Koicha means "thick tea". Thick matcha is essentially a paste-like consistency, while thin matcha is the more well-known and commonly seen foamy usucha that you can find at your local coffee shop (if you're lucky). Koichi requires about twice the amount of matcha powder mixed with half the water. This beautiful tea set opens up a whole new world of matcha celebrations. The result is glorious Matcha and the heightened respect for craftsmanship that permeates the traditional tea festival. I highly recommend this matcha tea set.
